Para definir a cor de fundo para uma página utilizando os comandos das Folhas de Estilo basta definir no BODY o comando 'background-color' seguido da referência á cor que se pretende utilizar.
background-image Esta propriedade é utilizada para inserir imagens como plano de fundo de um elemento. Para isso, fazemos uso da função url(), para a qual passamos como parâmetro o caminho da imagem a ser inserida.
